TESTIMONIALS
CSI Plumbing was contracted by Girvan Waugh to complete a an office fit out at Talevera Road to increase office appeal to prospective tenants. Based on their ability to meet tight deadlines, to communicate effectively and based on the finished product, I was very pleased and would highly recommend them for future projects.

Bellevarde Constructions were engaged by a well known architectural firm to build what we hoped would be the best detailed and most precisely built building we have ever built, on a very challenging site. We were constrained by a tight construction programme, a controlled budget and a client eager to achieve an extremely high quality outcome.
The building was a prestigious 5 level home constructed with an exposed off form concrete structure located on the Bondi beach front directly adjacent to the water.
We would be on show for all to see for the foreseeable future. Naturally we were concerned with the ability of all our major subcontractors to perform given these stipulated conditions.
CSI Plumbing were invited to tender on the plumbing sub contract works and their tender was short listed. We asked Craig to meet with us where we explained in no uncertain terms, the requirements of the job and the expectations that would be placed on CSI.
We asked Craig to review his tender and ensure that he was comfortable with all the requirements. He came back the next day and said he was completely comfortable with the requirements without needing to adjust CSI’s tendered proposal and pledged to deliver both on quality and programming.
It was the first time that we have worked with CSI Plumbing, so it took a leap of faith by Bellevarde and the architects to accept their sub-contract proposal which also happened to be the keenest tender amongst a list of 4 subcontractors. Mind you I am also sure that CSI also took a leap of faith in deciding to work with us, not knowing exactly how precisely we work.
After some due diligence we accepted their proposal and commenced the work.
This project was to require tight programming of work where by large packages of plumbing work needed to be carried out at specific times and within very short time frames.
The works were complicated and required a lot of thought and preplanning in order that conflicts with other services and the final design were eliminated.
In addition to this the work needed to be installed extremely accurately as there was always, only millimeters involved in positional tolerances for many parts of the plumbing system whether that would be cast in pipework or the final location of a shower rose or tap. Very unforgiving work.
The scope of works included 11 individual water service lines, 6 drainage service lines [Stormwater pipe system, rain water pipe system, cavity drainage system, sub soil drainage system, overflow stormwater pipe system, and sewer pipe system], sewer pumping station, rainwater reuse station and two sets of hot water reticulating water pumps. Further to this, the house has also been designed to be subdivided into two apartments in the future with the stipulation that all services should be set up now, to accommodate the future split. So to say the least there was a very complex web of work for all involved.
True to their word, it was gratifying to see that as the project progressed they were delivering on both of their pledges regarding quality and programming.
I was truly relieved that the leap of faith that we both took, had paid off in a most positive outcome.
Variations on projects like this can also become sticking points, however on this score I can also say that I found CSI’s approach to be more than fair to the extent that they even agreed to charge out all variation work using a ‘’do and charge’’ formula proposed by us, that was able to keep additional costs within our controlled budget forecasts.
I do think that at the end of the day, we did actually reach our goal to procure “the best detailed and most precisely built building we have ever built”.
This is in no small part, due to the efforts put in by subcontractors like CSI Plumbing. If you are considering CSI Plumbing for any work I can say with confidence that you will be impressed, as I was, with their quality of work, their understanding of the job, their promptness to carry out the works, and most importantly to me, their cooperative approach to getting the job done.
I would be more than happy to recommend CSI Plumbing to any prospective client or builder. You will be rewarded for your leap of faith.
Finally and on a personal note, you will also find that Craig is a good old fashioned, honest and fair guy, that will look after your job as if it was his own.
